BARHOP

The scene | Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, 3060 Howard Ave., Myrtle Beach. 839-0249 The vibe | This new kid on the block still has its shine. Ape Hangers

The Vibe | Hours are 4 p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. Sunday. Set up in an old flatiron-shaped building in the heart of Five Points, downtown Myrtle Beach, this space has some history and a great view. The tall ceilings and hardwood floors make for a pleasant atmosphere with a bar upstairs and a bar facing the huge windows for people-watching. The downstaris area was renovated and has a cozy second bar including a pool table and games. Parking may be tricy as it's behind the bar.
