Villa Mare served up Italian eats at 79th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach for 18 years before heading to the hot spot known as the Carolina Forest community and opening April 17.
The restaurant, at 4999 Carolina Forest Blvd., Unit 4-B, is at the Forest Crossings Plaza.
"Carolina Forest is a growing community, and we wanted to take advantage of being able to serve a bunch of people in a more localized theater," said Fred Fusco Jr., whose father, Fred Fusco Sr., owns the business. "Business has been excellent. Thank God."
Entree prices range from $13.50 to $22.95.
The eatery, which has a bar, is open from 4 to 10 p.m. (or later) Monday through Saturday.
